California air quality regulatory geography and state issued carbon offset projects. A point lookup returns the air district and the air basin with permitting jurisdiction over a location, plus any community air protection area selected under AB 617 that it falls inside. Offset search covers the state issuance map: forest project polygons with acreage, operator, and net credits issued, alongside livestock, mine methane capture, and ozone depleting substance projects across 19 states. Districts, basins, and community areas are California only; offset projects are national. A district names the agency with jurisdiction, not a permit, an approval, or a measured air reading, and a point outside every selected community means outside the program rather than assessed and cleared. Net credits issued is a net figure that can go negative, and mapped acreage is cartographic rather than surveyed, so neither may be added across records. Emissions inventories and cap and trade permit, auction, and compliance records publish as rotating bulk files and are not exposed here.
