About PVGIS Solar Resource & PV Yield
Give a latitude and longitude and PVGIS returns modelled annual and monthly output for a grid-connected solar array at a chosen size, tilt, direction, module type, and loss assumption, or picks the best tilt and direction for you. It also returns long-term monthly sunlight totals and the average hourly curve for a month. Values are modelled from satellite and reanalysis data over a fixed range of years, which each answer names alongside its year-to-year variation. PVGIS is published by the European Commission Joint Research Centre and results carry its credit. This is early feasibility screening, not an on-site measurement, a bankable production estimate, a shading study, or a grid connection answer.
