About Regulations.gov
Search federal rulemaking dockets, supporting documents, and public comments. The public demonstration key works at a low rate; teams with heavier use can add a free api.data.gov key. Docket material is research context and should be checked against final agency action and current law.
⚠ Calls without a configured key use the shared public api.data.gov DEMO_KEY, which is heavily rate-limited and can start refusing requests part-way through a session. Set REGULATIONS_GOV_API_KEY, free from api.data.gov, for a dedicated limit.

Open Claude settings
Launch Claude, click the profile button (bottom left), and go to Settings.

Access connectors
Open the Connectors tab, scroll to the bottom, and click “Add custom connector”.

Name your connector
Enter any name you’d like for this connector.

Get the connector URL
Log in to ParcelOps, open the /mcp page, and copy the connector URL you want to use.

Add the connector
Paste the URL into the “Remote MCP server URL” box and click Add.

Start using
Your Regulations.gov connector is ready to use in Claude.
